Inka Trail

The inka trail one of the 5 best walks in the world and Macchu Picchu is the final destination of this wonderful journey.
The inka trail is the most spectacular way to visit the wonder of the world, just as the Incas did about 600 years ago.
The visiting season runs from March to January (in February it is closed for conservation interventions).

The location of the route varies depending on which section you want to take. The most popular route starts at km 82 of the Cusco-Machu Picchu railway route (40 km until reaching the citadel of Machu Picchu).

Another possibility, which requires less time, is the Camino Sagrado, which is undertaken at km 104 of the same street. It is part of the "caminos" Inca network (Qhapaq Ñan).
