We will depart from Cusco around 05:00 am. Up to the south of the city, we will pass by URCOS, CUSIPATA (about 1 hour 30 minutes) where we will have a nutritious breakfast that will last about 40 minutes.
After a brief informative briefing we will continue our journey towards the starting point of the walk (about 1 hour journey).
We will begin our walk at the foot of the Ausungate glacier a climb of about 1 hour 30 minutes, until we reach the highest point where we can admire the colorful mountain.
During this journey we will be able to admire the different varieties of South American camelids, as well as the local flora. Arrived at the colorful mountain we will have time to take pictures and enjoy the show approximately 40 minutes. Optionally we can go to the mirador of Valle Rojo.
After we follow with our walk down towards the meeting point of the van (about 1 hour of downhill walk) arrived at our van we will go to the assigned restaurant to have a delicious lunch. (about 1 hour) to then finally be able to return to Cusco arriving around 4:00 pm.
